Goodman Street Club Facilities
The Goodman Street Club is located in a Geneva Housing Authority facility next to Courtyard Apartments just off Pre-Emption Street (near Zotos). The facility also houses the Agri-Business Day Care Center which uses element of the Club when Club hours of operation are closed. The Goodman Street Club rooms include:
- Gamesroom: Foosball, bumper pool tables, table games for leisure use and tournaments for skill building & friendly competition
- Art Room: Ready for age appropriate visual, digital and craft arts activities
- Learning Center: Computers for homework, internet safety education, skills programs and free time
- Gym: Sports, Fitness, Team building exercises and plenty of member’s choice time
- Life Skills Room: Dining area and kitchen for alternative activities such as Healthy Habits curriculum and cooking
- Leadership Room: Meeting Room for character and leadership clubs (Torch and Cadet). Also used for an incentive store for members to bank or spend their Club Paychecks for completing homework, participating in educational enhancement activities, taking care of their club and treating others the way they want to be treated.
- Outdoor Playground/Sports Fields: Courtyard Apartments Playground, basketball courts, baseball diamonds and football field
- Geneva Community Center: The Goodman Street Club transports members to participate in special activities
